Last week we finished transplanting
the brassicas (Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi) in the field.

Above, starting to transplant our basil into gallon containers to be
greenhouse grown during the summer.
Planting flats of various greens to be transplanted out in a couple of

The cucumbers are loving the warm tropical conditions of the greenhouse.

Summer squash is growing each day!
Watermelons, too, are waiting to start hardening off outside next week.

Tomatillos are racing to get as tall as the tomatoes.

And, last but not least, the humble eggplant. Graceful, really. I think it
longs for the tropics...but it'll have to settle for the mountains of
Montana this season! (sigh)
