Last week we finished transplanting
the brassicas (Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi) in the field.

Asparagus crowns, awaiting planting.

Various crops hardened off and waiting to make
their new home in the field.

Greenhouse work is always fun.
Above, starting to transplant our basil into gallon containers to be
greenhouse grown during the summer.

Planting flats of various greens to be transplanted out in a couple of
weeks.

The cucumbers are loving the warm tropical conditions of the greenhouse.

Purple basil is always so beautiful.

Summer squash is growing each day!

Watermelons, too, are waiting to start hardening off outside next week.

What? A tomato is blooming?

Tomatillos are racing to get as tall as the tomatoes.

Yummy peppery summer savory!

And, last but not least, the humble eggplant. Graceful, really. I think it
longs for the tropics...but it'll have to settle for the mountains of
Montana this season! (sigh)
